    an open freestyle to chelsea
I was sick of camp, too many controlling tramps
liked to get with 2/3rds of the guys and fuck right by the lamps
like in kiwanis' loft, we never have a counselor thats goth
but we have a smoth, and a horde of giant moths
out by the bathroom light, doesnt cause a giant fright
i would like to go and sleep with flo at lions cabin every night
but i cant because rules, hope you came to camp without jewels
i eat a lot of chicken nuggets and end up with hard stools
that happen down by the kitchen, i was sick of Shaina's bitchin
if she ever came up to me again to confront she would be smitten
with intelligent counter arguments, for every hour thats spent
of her being like a negative jar thats been covered and harbored
in a giant tank of shit that makes me want to quit the job i was promised but lossed
and when i never flossed i looked at the cost, of how much money i could have been to be a boss
at a number of other camps with kids around the albatross
of minnesota schools, why did i play the fool, of someone who DOES have a degree
and has written a valid creed, about his own philosphy, meanwhile i see the hypocrisy
that stays laying here for all to see
and im glad im out a week early, you refuse to go after the burly issues of camp early, instead sleep it off and surely
you have no business with kids meanwhile i open the lids of parents waiting to take bids on where their children go and sit at the classrooms
around the cities while you flash your redundant titties at a party none of us remember - ill never hold tender the moments of staff on a 5 year bender
the influence when they should have been doin all the things of a real human who has the heart of a true bloomin educator thats about pursuin'
not a job but a career! something a lot of you fear because of whats stake? your summer job we are able to take
i hope next year youve learned your lesson, that undressin' leads to nothing but a confession during one of the last sessions youve learned of your own depression.

I hope the bovey gets better; in my heart i really do, but it wont ever improve unless nothing changes but you.

    Jake Roberts
I am watching this large shoot interview with Jake "The Snake" Roberts and I must say.... HOLY SHIT. Roberts has STILL got it. The guy has logical, meaningful answers when it comes to the ring psychology of everything. His wait time after answers and rhetorical questions are perfect. I could listen to this guy talk about wrestling for hours, or at least about 1 and a half. I am downloading this interview so if you would like it from me go ahead and send a message.

    wtf....
silly blair... all i gotta say is it was not a natural start of him and meghan dating. that was a tainted fucking start. it was the same start as all of her other breakneck-speed dating starts. He can be naive about it all he wants, i dont care because i sincerely hope those two are finding peace with what they hope to pursue, but its all turned into a bunch of garble i havent taken more than a minute to think about up until this writing. oh, and i havent been writing much on here lately cause of the creation of a myspace account. Tom came after me claiming i am the admin of something promoting nudity and sexually explicit photos. THe tiots are stayin Tom, plain and simple!

think you got what it takes? Besides me, I would have to guess that only Blair would come quite close to a good score on here. theres quite a variety of songs from movies, hip hop and rock.

Idiots who are too worried about their reputation to admit to themselves that they know the title to a pop song here and there need not apply. i mean cmon, i bet mmm bop is on there and you are able to guess the right answer!

The internet is back. But I study alot more without it, which i plan to continue doing.
Yet i also plan on connecting to school through a proxy here and working hard. Either way I will be able to email papers to myself at least. Thats right, fuck the ACC and the ML 113 lab with shitty macs.

I hope the Boston Red Sox beat the New York Yankees. I fuckin hate them all: Joe Torry, A:Rod, Matsui, Jeter, youd think with a name like the Yankees, America would actually care about them.

man the internet sucks here at the appt. i Think we are switching to charter in the very near future. Either way, there have been some discrepencies with sir Kurtis Rood.

Lately I have been getting into GTA3, even though vice city and san andreas coming out soon is probably here for the taking. Either way, I really suck at the game. Every time I try to finish the jobs that they give out, I end up smashing into all the cop cars and Ho's on accident. And you know how it is when you get 4 stars or more in the game. Im just better at getting the stars unintentionally.
So anyway, as usual I pissed off Kurtis Rood by cracking up while he was trying to sleep. Now I understand him completley that I should have kept it to a minimum, but he lets out a huge jaba-the-hut groan, marches in here and says, "the fuck is goin on in here?! Im trying to fuckin sleep.................fuck...". I couldnt help but be in stitches with laughter after he stormed off and slammed his door that is in bad shape to start with. Oh well, lets hope he cools it down by tomorow, I know we will be on good terms once I mix some vocal kurtis action to some Cosmos song. That bumpin track will soon leave you in stitches too.

By the way, isn't it long overdue to bust out some V.A.Gina Rain? I have a few tracks in mind, so maybe if I remember to bring my mic home I will record some great new ideas and put them out to the public in the next couple weeks.

some things to try and write about
So whats goin on here... thinking...thinking...
Ok, well I've been playing some frisbee, and although 9/10ths of the time I am the worst player on the field, I think it is good that I am getting some excersize and putting my shoes to good use, they help a lot. So I guess even though I suck at throwing and hustling it's worth the "What the hell was that!"'s

Today in my mind was another milestone as far as my singing goes. I was one of the four people out of the two vocal studio classes that got to perform at a master class with LSU (Louisana State) Dr. Loraine Sims. A master class consists of a singer performing a piece in front of all the vocal students. After the piece, the singer stays up on stage while the proffessor critiques your singing for 10 minutes in front of everyone.

There are a few reasons while I consider this a milestone. First off, there are currently 17 vocal students (including me) in my class that study under the same proffessor (Dr. Stephen Bomgardner), with at least 5 that I would consider much better singers than I (2 of which have been finalists in NATS(National Association of Teachers of Singing)competitions). The conclusion? He picked two of us from his class to sing, one of them being a grad student with a Bachelors in vocal performance.

Why did he pick me? Maybe he thinks I am good at taking criticism. Maybe I suck and he wanted it to be an eye opener. Or, maybe he thinks I have enough talent to sing well in front of some pretty prestigous strangers. Either way, I was quite honored that he threw me in there. He wouldn't just tell two random crappy singers to go sing and represent the MSU music dept, would he?

Another cool thing was that it was the first time I had sang in front of the female studio class. Afterwards, along with the usual good comments from my male buddies, a lot of the women came up and told me how beautiful it was to hear me. I guess they origionally thought my singing was much like my personality in front of them(shy, mumbly, weird). A couple even said they almost cried during the piece. Was I THAT flat? hehe, :P

The last cool thing I can think of is how well it will look on my resume. It's something a lot of undergrads don't get to participate in.
Dr. Sims - "How do YOU think you sang?"
    Me -"hmmmm, ok"
Dr. Sims -"I'd say a lot better than ok, I'd say pretty good"

Ok, so that was just WAYYYY too much raving for one night. Yet the more I think of it the happier I am that I got to do it.
Alright, some other things...I've been playing a lot of Raiden, even though I can never seem to get past the 8th level. It's pretty addicting. The retreat last weekend went well, the director sad it was the best retreat theyve had, and if my memory serves me right theyve been doing it for at least 5 years and counting.

During the retreat, I played someone's guitar that was sitting around after everyone left for the night. I havent picked one up and really played with some soul in a good 6 months. Sometimes I wish it was here at school, other times I know its good that it isnt taking up space, which is quite limited in the appt.

I think thats about all I wanna say right now. Ive been really getting this music:
    -American Football
-Simon & garfunkel - America (the minor 7th chorius part is the best part) and Old Friends bookends of course
    -Aincent Chinese Masterpieces
    -Faure's Requiem
-Artists from the Transmat Label ( Think Derrick May)

So it is time for my third year of college to begin tomorrow. Fuck am I old. Oh well, I figure after the next 9 months I will have learned the art of conducting from one of the best in the state (if not the country),been in some more of the greatest musical moments of my life, hopefully improved my vocal technique and aquired a shitload of knowledge about drugs!(It's a required class in the college of proffessional Ed.)
With classes also includes VP duties in concert choir. That means planning a bunch of get-togethers with the ensemble. Man that's gonna suck, hehe. My dream though would be to just get together all 70 singers and have one giant LAN in the PA building. Think about it; you could have a huge deathmatch tournament with the best player from each section compete for the best. Or you could have each section be a clan to duke it out.

Ok, that's the nerdiest, stupidest idea ever but if everyone was a proficient gamer I would go down in history as the best VP ever to grace MSU.

Either way, let's hope I do the duties well and they re-elect me next year and I look super good on a resume sometime. On a side note, I'm about to say one of the things I usually hate reading in people's livejournals. That's right, I'm gonna tell you something about my appearance. I'm just wondering when I have to go up and blab in front of the choir if they will think I look like Hugh Jackman circa the X-men movies. I grew some mighty funny chops that school people have yet to see and I hope they think I look silly.
Anyway, I've typed way too much. All that's left is I reinstalled windows and now both Doom 3 AND my printer works and OF COURSE the big 2 year anniversary is today.

    fatal1ty
you know, on the topic of doom 3, i just noticed that @ quakecon 2004, once again jonathan "fatal1ty" wendell won the big $25,000 1v1 tournament. The game was out for a couple weeks and he still won. He's a damn good player, but I ask myself if being a pro gamer would ever be worth it.

fatal1ty is hands down the most well known and probably best player i've ever seen. After the prizes, in the 5 years or so he's been pro, he's won close to $400,000. Anyone can see that that's damn good money for playing video games. But there are a few catches.

First of all, in the time jonathan wendell spends training for the hottest new nvidia card or AMD chip in one day is around the same amount of time I spend studying my college courses in a whole week. We're talking 10-15 hours daily. That's obviously what it takes to be the best, but can you picture all the things you could be doing in a day compared to sitting in front of a 19inch monitor from noon to midnight?

Second of all, what about all the people slightly below Jonathan Wendell? Sure, there are other well known names,(Wombat comes to mind) but second place is always a significant dip in cash and prizes; making it close to only half the amount of winnings fatal1ty gets awarded.

Third, have you ever seen the, "True Life: I'm a Gamer" on MTV? After getting past the hilarious life of the man who can get a perfect game in Pac Man/Sell hot sauce, I noticed that after the big UT 2003 Tournament, Jonathan Wendell was approached by four fairly attractive girls his age. What did fatal1ty do? Next to nothing. The 22yr old (at the time, now 23) barely took his eyes off his monitor to view the eye candy. I 100% support people who choose the path of abstinence, but if the documentary showed us anything, it continued the stereotype that computer geeks don't get any pussy. Shit, they don't even really bat an eye to it.

So what's my point? Unless you are the absolute best Quake player alive or the greatest awop whore in CS, you don't get anywhere in pro gaming. You have no time for friends, family, a love life, nothing but bragging rights to millions of fellow geeks desperatly tryng to prove their 1337n355 on the internet. I personally don't think it's worth it.

I just wanted to log that I bought some more RAM today. I got a pretty good deal on it at Sam's, which actually has a lot of good deals on computer and console stuff, amongst a shitload of other things. Anyway, I got a gig of ram now so when my 3 day download of doom 3 is finished and installed it will be immediatly owned by my comp.

    special suprise
My girlfriend had a special suprise for me on saturday...indie pro wrestling! That's right, going to indie shows is still by far one of my favorite things to do. Some of you can go boast to everyone how you attended that reputation-raising emo show, that undaground grindcore thrashfest or super skabe warehouse rave, but my niche is definetley pro wrestling.

Steel domain put on a small performance with plenty of great regulars: Sodbuster Kenny J and Sheik Adnon al kaisse of course, Anarchist Arik Cannon, Kid Krazy, etc. The best part was after the Arik Cannon/Kazushi Miyamoto match, Miyamoto pushed the guard rail up against a scared shitless group of young prior lake girls in the front row while flashing them his jet black tongue.

People can talk shit about wreslting all they want, but i still wont care, as long as MPW still puts on kick ass cards every sunday night, I am 100% content with WWE tv being terrible.

    Fuck HHH. Seriously.
so for some dumb reason im at wwe.com and saw something about ric flair's new book, which is probably pretty informative. but then i saw this page on there:
    http://www.wwe.com/news/200words/evandenbaum/1270579

before i rant in easily my largest journal post ever, i need to explain my pov. there is some debate about who could get to as many world championships as Ric Flair (16).

first of all, no one will because he won them in wwf, wcw and muthafuckin old school NWA. Second, when he held them, such as the NWA title, he held them for at least 6months at a time, sometimes 2 years. Winning the wwe title and dropping it 2 months later for some stupid ass angle/tiny neilsen rating spike aint jack shit.
So anyway, some of the writers are claiming Hunter Hearst Helmsly (HHH) is halfway there with 8; at least 7 of which he won due to burying every opponent that actually could draw money for the wwe. Look at how he wins these things: Wins the championship, loses it the next night on tv, wins it back next month at the pay per view; with no momentum or interest in any of the story line leading up to the title matches. Should that really count?
Can that really be compared to wrestling in territories all over the U.S (among other places such as canada and japan)for years until the promotions recognize your drawing power and decide to have you in an angle with months of buildup before winning the title? I can admit that sort of thing cannot happen anymore, but there truly is no comparison. There is no comparison between The Rock jobbing to Triple H in hopes of good buyrates and Ric Flair waiting many months to win the NWA title from Harley Race, which in the long run ended up being talked about 20years after-the-fact.
So maybe HHH, a midcarder at best, will get to 16 at some point in his career. But will any of them ever matter? Maybe two or three of them, and that is a stretch. Keep in mind we are in a period of such bad pro wrestling that many writers who have written wrestling columns for close to decades just stopped watching; all because of the product being so bad. That cannot all be blamed on HHH, and I admit I am happy that Chris Benoit is FINALY (for now) the world champion, a title he deserved at least 3 years ago.
The bottom line is, don't even think about comparing HHH to Ric Flair. Shit, don't compare ANYONE to fuckin Ric Flair. There will be no better no matter how many championships someone wins.

we have a performance booked in early august at some eagan community center. Hybrid has generously given us an hour of their time to use there, which was very nice considering i wouldnt have done it otherwise.

Unless he said Hirokazu 'Hip' Tanaka, who composed the music to earthbound, kid icarus, duck hunt, metroid, and a buncha others. he had to personally program the sound in binary code as well as to design and install the actual sound equipment on nintendo arcade machines.
